"Human Rats" is a live studio recording.
The premise was simple: we go in and record songs at a 100-minute pace. Without any edits or interference. A few cables, a few microphones, and off we go. This is to preserve the spirit of the live, furious, frenetic, and honest noise, with all its grime and energy. We record essentially what we're currently playing at concerts—no bullshit, and as long as we can muster. Specifically, venomously, and directly. Among the recorded songs are premieres, our favorites, and those recorded with specially invited guests. The album features: Anna Świstak (Eye For An Eye), Anna Ratkowska (Amunicja), Dariusz "Ex Pert" Eckert (Inkwizycja), and Jarosław "Smok" Smak (Post Regiment, Falarek, PESD, Ye.stem). The Voice of Human Rights is a consistently hardcore punk sound, accompanying social and personal lyrics that oppose the dumbing down and applauding of homophobic and xenophobic attacks that divide people into better and worse. It's a protest against the resurgent wave of nationalism, against backwardness, contempt, nonsense, and filth spoken without restraint, against the increasingly frequent attempts to appropriate and limit our consciousness and freedom. It's a protest against obsessed politicians and discredited church hierarchs, whose hands are stained with corruption and pedophilia, who believe they have a monopoly on truth and infallibility. To maintain power, they resort to fear, violence, hatred, and division. For their own gain, they treat people as property, animals as objects and commodities, and the planet as a bottomless pit. This is a protest against what's happening.
